Help Carry the Message
A 12-Step Volunteer is an AA member who has at least 6 months sobriety, completed the Twelve Steps, has a sponsor, works with others and is willing to connect by phone with someone seeking help for alcoholism. This service is grounded in personal experience, compassion, and the simple willingness to be there for another alcoholic. There is no need to have all the answers. What matters most is offering a calm, personal conversation and sharing your own experience, strength, and hope.
